Steel Springtime

Every window was designed as a response to the Spring Collections of 2010.  Titled ‘Steel Springtime’, the whole work was intended to impart the impression of fresh and new verdant life – but all in context of the urban enviroment and using pure man-made materials and organic shapes and outlines.

Every peice was hand-cut by Charlie Whinney during a two week period.

Materials: 20 gauge mild steel, mostly recycled.

Finish: gas coloured - lacquered

Dimensions: c. 50m x 4m x 3m
